HOW DOES THE PLEDGE WORK?

Each individual who accepts the invitation to take the Knowledge Pledge is asked to publicly state their intent to share (at least once) how education and knowledge contributed to their successes. The public statement can be made on a website, in a Tweet, in a press release or in any other public forum. The recommended way to make the public commitment is to electronically sign the Knowledge Pledge on the Tellusthepoint website. After making a public commitment to take the Knowledge Pledge, the recommended way to fulfill the pledge is to take the Knowledge Pledge Survey or write a Knowledge Pledge Statement on the Tellusthepoint website.

Like individuals, organizations that choose to take the Knowledge Pledge can do so by issuing a public statement in any forum or by electronically signing the Knowledge Pledge on the Tellusthepoint website. Organizations can fulfill the Knowledge Pledge by (1) recommending its most successful employees to take the Knowledge Pledge Survey and (2) encouraging any high-school-graduate-employee to take the Survey of High School Graduates.
