HOW WILL THE KNOWLEDGE PLEDGE MEASURE ITS EFFECTIVENESS?

Since the Knowledge Pledge was inspired by the Giving Pledge, one measure of success is getting 100% of those who pledge to give away money to also pledge to share knowledge. Broader measures of success include (1) the extent to which we create a new social norm of successful people and organizations routinely sharing with educators and students how schoolwork is used in real life, (2) the number of schools that make linking learning to life the norm for how they educate students, and (3) the number of employers that report no gap in the knowledge and skills graduates have and the knowledge and skills they need.
